YOU WILL BE LOVED BY EVERYONE BECAUSE OF ME?

(The Sugar-Coated False Gospel of "Love")

Sugar coating the truth: What a predator does at the playground.

Sugar coating the truth: What a lying doctor does when he keeps your life threatening diagnosis to himself (while he has the cure) so he doesn't upset you.

Sugar coating the truth: What an evil, greedy husband does, in seeking a life insurance pay out by poisoning his wife's favorite meal.

Sugar coating the truth: What a false teacher does behind the pulpit.

Sugar coating the truth: What you do when you ashamedly withhold the Truth of the Gospel to remain popular, culturally relevant and socially tolerant of sin; as you watch fellow brothers and sisters along with the lost, run headlong into certain death, judgment and hell-fire...just so you don't offend them. AKA: You're ashamed of the freedom you have in Christ apart from your sin; if this were not true, why do you remain in your sin and condone it in the lives of those around?

You're ashamed at the implications of His atonement.

You find His work on the cross an embarrassing reproach because it implies you are weak and in need of a savior ( you don't want to look like a weakling Jesus fanatic).

You're ashamed to be labeled as one of His disciples.

You're ashamed of Him because He testifies to your sin.

You're ashamed to stand for His Truth among your peers because you're afraid and ashamed to be labeled with a Christ who exposes not only your sin, but that of the world's as well.

You're ashamed of a Christ who doesn't justify sin.

You're ashamed of a Christ who has a future Judgment Seat.

You're ashamed of a Christ who says "go and sin no more".

You're ashamed of a Christ who convicts one of sin.

You're ashamed of a Christ who requires more than a form of godliness.

You're ashamed of a Christ who offers the power to free people from the sin that is mutilating their soul.

You deny knowing Him by your compromise in regard to yourself and others.

Like Peter, you deny ever knowing Him out of fear you might be mistaken as being a "Jesus follower". What will people say? What will people think? I may be persecuted if I allow the Truth of my association with Him be known.

You. Are. Ashamed.

This is clear; by your actions, lack of actions and words. So, at this juncture you can either (A) STOP denying Him before men, so He doesn't deny you before the Father. (B) Apostatize, backslide and utterly forsake Him. Or; (C) Start sugar coating the truth and create a socially palatable Christ you don't have to be ashamed of. (Which is really just option B in disguise: Sugar Coated). Most modern church-goers go with the plan B & C conglomerate.

Option B and C in action:

You're proud of the atonement of a Christ who justifies sin without the justification of the sinner.

You're proud of a Christ who enables you to be your own God, your own savior and your own relative truth as you call all of the shots.

You're proud of a Christ who's Bible is like a "Choose your own Adventure" five and dime novel where you can do whatever you want and always have a happy ending.

You're proud to be labeled a disciple of a Christ who looks just like you.

You're proud of a Christ who tells you to go and sin all you want.

You're proud of a Christ who is a sin loving, sin excusing, sin condoning, sin encouraging, anti-sin exposing, lawless transgressor of God's Law--This Christ you will gladly allow yourself to be labeled with among your peers.

You're proud of a Christ who doesn't convict or make anyone feel uncomfortable.

You're proud of a Christ who's ONLY requirement is that you have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.

You're proud of a Christ who doesn't ever make you feel like a social outcast.

You're proud of a Christ who says all go to Heaven.

You're proud of a Christ who says nobody burns in Hell.

You're proud of a Christ who requires NOTHING of you, except that of your full enjoyment in the humanity of your sinful indulgences.

You're proud of a Christ who is proud of your sin.

You're proud of a Christ who hates, disavows and disassociates Himself with the very words He inspired in the Bible.

You're proud of a Christ who holds no power to free anyone from the sin that has become your form of godliness.

You're proud of a Christ that is impossible to compromise or deny in regard to your own actions and behavior before others.

You're proud to announce from the rooftops your association with such a Christ.

You're proud and you have no reason to fear rejection or persecution from anyone with such a Christ by your side.

You're proud of a Christ who will never have a judgment seat.

YES! You're proud of a Christ who believes nothing, condemns nothing, stands for nothing, means nothing, gives nothing, takes nothing, judges nothing, shames nothing, graces nothing, thinks nothing, requires nothing, cares for nothing, costs you nothing, suffers you nothing, gains converts for nothing, baptizes for nothing, edifies for nothing, forgives nothing, lives for nothing, shed His blood for nothing, bruised for nothing, wounded for nothing, dies for nothing, resurrects for nothing, ascends for nothing, sends His Spirit for nothing, Has martyrs for nothing, returns for nothing, sets up His Kingdom for nothing, damns Satan for nothing, AND IS NOTHING.

You serve NOTHING but yourself. Repent and believe on the actual, historical Christ who lived for something,

died for something,

rose for something,

lives in His disciples for something,

forgives sin for something,

saves for something

and requires something.

Not the one you made up because you don't want to live for ANYTHING.

Not the one you made up because you began to resent Him after you suffered some persecution as a social outcast due to your association with Him...and in spite of this, you were ashamed. Get over yourself. YOU are NOTHING. He is SOMETHING and not only something but EVERYTHING. Stop making Him out to be NOTHING by saying your sin means NOTHING. I can guarantee when you get to the Judgment Seat, it'll mean SOMETHING. Stop forming and fashioning a "god" who has the same likes, dislikes, biases, tastes and prejudices as you. You are an idolater. Repent and read of the real Christ throughout the New Testament. Learn of His likes, dislikes, biases, tastes and prejudices. And as you do, this very same Christ will come alongside of you, through His Spirit and testify of the things you read in a living, vibrant way. He is so much more than a book. But it's by what is written He communicates and testifies of His attributes. This is the safeguard to ALL idolatry and false teaching. His Spirit will solidify this in you and fortify you to withstand. Stop living for NOTHING by sugar coating the Truth so you can win your popularity contest. Where will your "fans" be when your dead? Will their admiration for your lie that you pass off as truth count as "brownie points" at the Judgment Seat?

Your "tolerance" and disdain for Truth may have gotten you a "get out of jail free" card when it comes to persecution in your social circles. But who is going to bail you out when the wrath of God falls on Judgment Day? All of the social acceptance and slow claps in the world won't help you then. Stop mutilating the Gospel into a narcissistic, self serving parody and fun-house funny mirror of yourself.

The first century Christians (including Christ) were hated for the very things you feel the need to sugar coat (so you can escape persecution). If the first century church preached the Gospel like you, Christianity would've died out within a generation. It would've just been "another" god or religion among the vast plethora of "gods" in the Roman Empire. It would've never spread to the four corners of the earth. But now that it has, your Gospel is a cancer among the real thing. Pluck it out and allow Christ to cure and heal your cancerous stench. He's going to do it, one way or another; either here or at the Judgment Seat. I recommend NOW while mercy and grace are still in effect..

Matthew 7:21-23-"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness".

"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. "Remember the word that I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.…" John 15:18-20

"You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." Matthew 10:22

John 8:31-34-" So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you (If you find yourself attacking His word by sugar coating it, you are trying to kill the very Christ that is behind the words) because His Word finds no place in you. I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father (Satan).”

John 7:7-"The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil".
